What is?
I usually play d4 and e4.
e4:
I normally play the Scotch if they reply with 1…e5 and 2…Nc6. And sometimes the Ponziani.
d4:
I usually go for the Blackmar-Diemer if they reply with 1…d5.

I know there’s no "best" opening but which opening is most interesting and fun / good to play in terms of trying to win? ^_^"

i have recently took up the hobby of playing chess and i was if i was to play the ruy lopez opening in chess which starts out as(your) e4 to(your opponent) e5, if you opponent decides that they want to play their knight first instead of their pawn, can you still play the ruy lopez opening or do you have to change your opening?

I’ve used this chess opening for god knows how long…. Just wondering if it has a name and if anyone else starts out a game like this…. .I use it when im playing as black….
