Chess Openings: The Pirc Defense
In the Pirc Defense, black tries to defend the center with this minor pieces. This chess strategy is considered a hypermodern opening. After fianchettoeing his bishop to g7, black looks to control the dark squares in the middle while still allowing his light square bishop a great diagonal to develop. If black is not careful white can put lots of pressure on the kingside of black, limiting the development of black’s pieces. Black must counterattack to put up a fight. Great video, not for me but very good as in i can see what my oppenent might do as black! its good to see you posting again kevin.
yeah not my style either but i always start e4 so i run into this from time to time. I def play the aggressive line for white.

haha that’s awesome.
where can i download this software?
what software?
where did the challenge go down?
It hasn’t yet. I’ve tried to contact him about playing and each of us posting our commentary on the game as I think everyone would learn a TON from both of us playing but he hasn’t responded back. We should get more people to request the matchup. It could be REALLY great for all chess enthusiast.
HELL YEAHH, omg omg omg i started it! lol
Wow, that would be really cool if you guys played some games…No matter who wins…

I dont like Bg4, because after a3 you just have to bring the Bishop back..

hi there i NEVER play that g pawn its well dodgy all it takes is an H pawn march from white and your kings defences are decemated !

Isn’t Nc6 quite weakning as White simply can reply with d5 ? I believe e6 is a must in that line..
