You’re thinking of Fianchetto. They are both Italian words.
A fianchetto is a bishop placed on the long diagonal eg the f8 bishop placed on g7 after playing … g6.
Several openings involve a fianchetto e.g. the Dragon variation of the Sicilian Defence and the Kings Indian Defence.
I suspect the Fianchettio Opening must be 1. g3 as 1. b3 is Larsen’s Opening, 1. … b7 is Owens Defence and 1. … g7 is the Modern (Pirc) Defence.
Well…..there is actually no such thing as the fibonacci opening in chess……the fibonacci sequence is actually of great interest to mathmeticians though.
There is no Fibonacci Opening in chess.
For a good overview of the major chess opening systems and their names see

Never heard of it. Got couple of links but they aren’t chess.
According to ECO (Encyclopedia of Chess Openings) it does not exist. I have been playing for 30 years and have never heard of it. There is however a fibonacci sequence…
Fibonacci is a mathematical formula which is also used in stock market charting programs. Don’t know if it has any relevance to chess though.
