Chess game against computer a draw?

My computer told me that our chess game was a draw, but I had my queen, a bishop and my king, whereas the computer only had its king. Is it actually impossible to win, or does my computer just think I’m too stupid to?

It’s not impossible to win with those pieces against a lone king.
It is most likely that this specific game was a draw because of a stalemate position.
? • ? Check: A direct attack on an opponent’s king by any piece or pawn.
? ? ? When placed in "check", the player must get out of check
? ? ? on the very next move by any of the following 3 ways:
? ? ? ? ¹ ? Move the king to an unattacked square.
? ? ? ? ² ? Capture the checking piece, and then no longer be under attack.

winning with a queen is basic chess, but if your not carefull? you’ll get a stale-mate
if you leave me no where to go, but i’m not in check, as crazy as that may seem its a draw, and if the board repeats 3 time that a draw too

If you get a draw against a computer then it is because you did not win … and the computer couldn’t win either just like over the board. Other posters have given you the technical details of how the draw works.
Here is the not so well known truth about draws and chess –
In professional chess where there is money on the line and masters playing — about a third of the games are won by white about a third are won by black and about a third are drawn.
If you look at match play there are often times when there are more draws than wins.
One way of looking at a drawn game is to understand that you did not lose — the other player could not enforce checkmate against you. It doesn’t matter how many pieces are on the board or who does what — He didn’t win! Of course you didn’t win either … but that should be the way life works.
Personally I find that some of my best games ended in draws … I was playing a better player and he didn’t make any blunders — neither did I … my defence stopped every one of his attacks and he was able to avoid my traps and so after we exhausted the best moves we could play the game ended with neither player securing a win.
I find many sports to be unfair because the draw is not considered — a football game is supposed to last 4 quarters of 15 minutes that is the rule — but if the end of the game comes and the score is equal then — Oh we have to change the rules — add more time — why not face the fact that both teams played equally well? In baseball two completely equal teams in theory can play the game forever (and people say chess is a slow game).
