i have used yahoo chess before with the same computer and now i cant see why i cant i see any rooms in yahoo?

can somebody help me on this please? ive tried the downloading the newest java as well and still i cant find a way to use the yahoo chess game, but the other yahoo games is working on my computer. what wrong?

Recently Yahoo updated their chess software program and you now need the new version. The first thing you will have to do is remove the old software demo. Standard clearing the cache does not remove game demos (deleting browser history old files clearing cookies, etc) They have to be deleted by manually selecting the Yahoo demo program. There are 3 ways of doing this,not all PCs are the same,Try them in order until the game demo is removed.
#1 Click start button, then search, click on files/folders, type in yahoo chess. When file comes up, right click on it and then click remove. Next time you visit Yahoo chess it will prompt you to download the new demo of Yahoo’s newest version of chess.
#2 Go to tools on your tool bar, then select Internet options, browser history, settings button, view objects. Select the game chess and then delete it.
#3 Go to start,my PC, click on C-drive, open the windows folder, open the downloaded programs folder.your games are listed there. delete the chess file.
#4 Internet explorer works best with yahoo games. If you are trying to use Foxfire make sure Sun java is checked as default java as it will not work with msn virtual machine java
Go to tools, internet options,advance tab. Scroll down to Sun java check it and java scrolling and JIT.
Flash player 9′s latest update 9.0.124.0
is causing some games to not load.use the link below for a download of Flashplayer #8 It willwork for sure and #9 with debugger should work as it’s older then last update. You have to remove the present flash player,(add/remove programs in control panel). reboot then download the older version.

You are not alone with this problem. It happens a lot. There is no simple answer to your question. That problem seemed to start when Yahoo upgraded a couple of months ago and many people have had problems since then. If you browse through questions here in this category, both the resolved questions and the undecided questions as well as the open questions, you will find many other questions similar to yours with many people having similar problems. You may get some ideas about how to solve your problem, but it does not seem to be an easy solution, and the suggestions don’t seem to work for everyone. For some people it seems to resolve itself in a day or so, which suggests that the problem may be with Yahoo. Best of luck with it.
