I’d like to play a crazyhouse game with a computer. I also would like to be able to analyze a game with my software – set up the board and make the computer crack the position up for me.

I’m interested in finding a site where I could play games with a long distance friend. Essentially, what I’m looking for is the ability to pick who you’re playing against (I’ve seen many sites where you can play against another person, but it’s randomly assigned). We’re interested in chess, Scrabble, games like that – not things like WOW. Obviously, I’d prefer a free site, and while I know that Facebook offers some, we’d prefer not to use that. What are some good sites for what I’m looking for?

A couple days ago I found a free chess games vs. the computer on yahoo games. I can’t find the site now; only online against other people. Did yahoo change in the last two days? Is there a place to play vs. the computer?

so basically my teacher gave us one day to do extra credit and i have soo much for other classes so i decided rather than asking my dad to help which takes hours i think you guys can help! here are some of the problems…if you could explain them too. i dont just want the answer, i wanna learn too.

problem #1- a bus traveling 40 mi/h left freetown at noon. a car traveling at 60 mi/h left freetown at 1:30 p.m.
A. what time did the car catch up to the bus?
B. how many miles were the car and the bus from freetown when the car caught up with the bus?

problem #2- a student playing a computer chess game gets 5points when he wins a round and the computer gets 3 points everytime it wins a round. they play 64 rounds and end up with a tie score.
How many rounds did the computer win?

problem 3- a kite and its tail total 36 ft in length. the tail is 5 times the length of the body. how long is the kites tail?

problem 4- a painter places an 8.5-ft-long ladder against the wall. the bottom of the ladder is 4 ft, from the base of the wall. how high up the wall does the ladder reach?

problem 4- there are 27 white cubes assembled to form a large cube, the outside surface of the large cube is painted red. the large cube is the seperated into 27 smaller cubes.how many of the small cubes will have red paint on exactly the following number of faces?

a- three faces
b- two faces
c- one face
d- no face

Distance of 1st bus: 40t
Distance of 2nd bus: 60(t – 1.5)

40t = 60(t – 1.5)

40t = 60t – 90

60t – 40t = 90

20t = 90

t = 90/20 = 4.5 hours

They will meet at 4:30. They will be 40(4.5) = 180 miles from Freetown.
