I would prefer the ability to play against other people as well as just the computer.

there r many chess engines which u can play against or websites like www.playchess.com or internet chess club or if u would like to see whats happening in the chess world then www.chessbase.com is the best and if u want to want to see millions of chess games then the database in the site www.chessgames.com is the best

Question by whom_god_giveth: which is the best chess game to downlod for my computer?
I wanted to download a chess game so I can have some fun and challenge myself to grow in my chess skills but I just dont want to buy like a chess game that like the other just more ‘professional’. My ideal chess game was the one on Nintendo back in the day called Battle chess where the pieces move and when you went for the kill they animated it for you, does anyone know if there game like that for windows xp? thanks in advance
