It’s a game I used to play years ago back in high school. Basically you had a chess-like board without the colors, and your pieces were Knights, Sorcerers, a Cleric, Wizard, Archers, and something else. The object of the game was to eliminate the opposing real-time player’s pieces. It had a lobby and there were 16 or so "floors" where you can challenge people. The game was free and online, but you could pay for a Gold account if you want to.
Can anyone help me out? I would really like to play again.

i have windows 7 and on it came this game called chess titians where you play chess at different levels against the computer…..this had happend a couple of times where the computer makes the king and tower like switch place……i tried to do that and it wouldnt let me……wtf is wrong with it????
im not like super familiar with like any fancy rules of chess…ik what the pieces do and like how you can move them but not like any loopholes and well known strategies so like is it even a legal move for the computer to do that?

I play a pretty mean game, but I cannot beat this computer, the program on my MacBook "Chess" from 1992. How can I learn how to beat it other than practice? Maybe knowing how it thinks?

Question by Peter N: I just downloaded a game from the internet via a “Torrent” site-mininova.org. It was a game(chess)?
I am now confused as to how to set the game up to play. Here are the instructions from where I downloaded it from… INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLAYING
1. Burn or mount
2. Install
3. Play the game
the type of files are mostly “WinRAR archive” I Really don’t know what to do. the files in total add up to something like 3.6 GB So I can’t burn those files as I only have a CD Burner NOT A dvd Burner, Do I need A dvd burner to make this game work? any help I would appreciate from those of you who are savy on computers or torrent downloading… Thanks

Answer by xpranoz You don’t need a DVD burner, you don’t need to burn it at all, extract the first winrar file and it should start extracting all of them one by one, it should create and image file. Then just get powerISO, or Daemon tools (spelled correctly), and use either one of those programs to ‘mount’ the file on to your system. They file you downloaded is called an image, pretty much a virtual cd, and you need special software to use it(ex: powerISO). What these programs do is make a virtual cd drive on your computer, then by ‘mounting’ (loading the image file on the virtual drive) the image, it makes windows think that theres a cd in your drive. So it will just be like putting a cd in your computer. EASY AS QUANTUM PHYSICS! =D

Thinking of the element of chance that is an essentail component of backgammon, an interesting side question might be “Is a game of backgammon harder to win than a game of chess?”
Furthermore, what is the essential difference, philosophically speaking, between a game of chess (all skill) and a game of backgammon (skill and “a lot” of chance)? Assume you could play the skill part of chess and backgammon equally well. If you had to sit down with your mortal enemy and “play to the death,” would you choose to play a game of backgammon or chess. (Baseball is not the right answer here–Go Tigers!)
