Question by Ramil D: Money involve in chess is gambling?
me and my friends were playing chess in public park and we agreed to have a bet of 100 peso that is like 2 dollar in US..and suddenly a police officer come and stop our game and destroyed our chess sets while saying “were gambling”…is it true that any game involving money is a gambling?
I am in the Philippines and i am age 25 with work as a computer programmer..pls say what you know…b’coz this officer keeps disturbing us..playing without bet is boring…

any money involved is betting and hy dont u play in one of ur houses or somewhere else so he cant come over

i really love to learn chess…i did look for sites but they are not for free, after i played it it they would ask me to buy the full version but got no money to do so…do you know of a clean site that provides free chess games. thanks and GOD bless!!!

Anyone know where I can find a place online where I can play chess, compete in tournaments, get rated and have fun for free. Every site I have gone to says I only get like 1-5 games, or I’m only allowed to play a computer until I pay money to have a full membership. These sites don’t even have enough for me to want to pay for a membership. So any chess players know where I can go?
